大家都知道一个人如果没有了诚信那么他会丧失很多东西。包括金钱，包括事业，包括亲人，包括朋友。记得有一年高考作文就是以诚信为话题，当时给了一个故事。说一个年轻人，在漫漫的人生路上，经过长途跋涉到达一个渡口的时候，他身上已经背了7个背囊：美貌、金钱、荣誉、诚信、机敏、健康、才学。渡船开出的时候风平浪静，过了不知道多久，风起浪涌，上下颠簸，险象环生。老梢公对年轻人说：“船小，负载重，客官你必须丢掉一个背囊，才可安全到达。”看年轻人不肯丢掉任何一个，老梢公又说：“有弃有取，有失有得。”年轻人想了想，把“诚信”丢到了水里。年轻人看到的仅仅是眼前的好处，却没有看到丢掉诚信也就意味着丢掉了一切。曾经看到一篇文章说澳大利亚人是很热情的，他们第一次和陌生人接触的时候非常地信任你，而一旦你第一次欺骗了他们。以后你也不要再奢望他们会相信你，哪怕你痛改前非，哪怕你做再多的事情去证明都无济于事。因为他们看重的是你的第一印象。在这里诚信显得难能可贵。

一个人立足于世，如果失去了别人对你最起码的信任，那么你就会犹如在沙漠里迷失了方向，在大海里失去了航标。没有人会去帮助你因为他们怕得到的是你无情的背叛和欺骗。在这时就算你得到了美貌、金钱、荣誉、机敏、健康又能怎么样呢?你丢掉诚信的同时也就意味着你必将失去，因为再没有诚信的前提下这些都只是空谈，得到了也会失去。现在我们的旅游业也兴起诚信旅游是一个很有必要的措施。无论在什么行业诚信都应该是我们应该遵循的宗旨。旅游行业更应该注重这一点，因为我们旅游是一个服务行业。并且我们的工作是以我们的服务质量来衡量的，如果没有诚信，旅游也必将面临着没有方向的不归路。现在全国很多城市的旅游局，旅行社都打出了诚信旅游的牌子。因为他们深知诚信在一个企业在一个公司在一个行业里的重要。__省在__年11月10日发出通知从今年11月到__年的10月在全省开展“诚信旅游”活动集中规范和整理旅游市场;__年10月28日大连市诚信旅游活动方案颁布实施，方案规定从10月28日起至明年9月间，从培育诚信旅游长效机制入手，在全市范围内开展诚信旅游活动。此举标志着大连正式开始全面创建诚信旅游体系，同时也给旅游部门提了个醒，如果以身试法，必将遭到法律的制裁;导游变导购、服务大缩水。在中国旅游，游客投诉最多的就是旅游行业较为普遍的欺诈行为。为改变这种不良形象，10月28日，中国四十七个旅游城市质监部门的负责人齐集此间，共谋建立旅游诚信体系。在第四届全国旅游城市旅游质监互动会上，昆明、贵阳、苏州、大连、青岛、南京、九江等国内四十七个著名旅游城市的代表们向全国旅游业界倡议：共建“诚实守信，合法经营，公平竞争，行业自律，优质服务，游客至上”的旅游诚信体系。可见诚信在我们旅游行业的重要性，如果我们的旅游市场还是这样的混乱，如果我们还不为自己敲响警钟，那么我们的明天只能是一片灰暗。

古人说：人无信不足以立于世。确实如此。现在很多网站上都可以看到关于旅游业诚信方面的板块。有的公司甚至专门开通了一条诚信的热线，客户有什么不满意的可以直接和管理者联系，第一时间投诉，第一时间解决。相信也只有这样才可以让我们的游客有一种放心的感觉，他们才会相信我们的服务是可靠的。为了自己的一点蝇头小利而损害了旅游行业的形象，这种人是旅游行业的罪人，必将遭到同行业的唾弃。当然我们的诚信也不仅仅只限于旅游一个行业。就在我们的日常生活中，我们也要诚信待人。记得在报纸上看到一则消息说一位老人破产后为了偿还欠下在债务，带着全家搬到了山里开垦荒地，那里没有电他们就点着蜡烛，日子过的很艰苦。但是老人始终没有改变自己的承诺那就是还清所有的债务，最后老人劳累而死。他的儿子坚持父亲的原则，他说：父亲说过的话，我会永远记得。父亲没有还完的债，我会努力去还。他们的诚信感到了大家，债主纷纷撕掉了借条。

但是，老人的儿子仍然坚持绝对要完成父亲生前的遗愿。诚信是一种高尚的品格，是一种可贵的高尚情操。作为人如果连最起码的诚信都没有，那么他是很难得到大家的信任的。诚信是一种信念，是指引人不断前行的动力支柱，当我们在生活中遇到了困难，也许我们会得到很多热心人的帮助。那前提是大家都信任你，都愿意去帮你。努力去完善自己吧!如果你在犹豫不知道应该选择丢弃那一个背囊，那么请记住丢掉哪一个都可以唯独不可以丢掉诚信。

4. Price and value are two different things

9. Discerning tiny differences

When you travel to a country that speaks a different language, it’s easy to spot what else makes it different. From the way the sunlight falls across a valley to the different flora andfauna in the surrounding forest, use your senses to determine what else is different in your foreign destination.

10. Be more comfortable alone

Even when you’re traveling with others, it can be isolating when no one speaks your language. Too often, you will have to make do thinking thoughts in your head, which is what many great thinkers, philosophers and artists have long known and practiced.

11. Learn how to tell a better story

Inevitably you will see or hear things worth telling friends about when you return home. After traveling enough, you will have all the practice you need to become a master story-teller.
